United Cast Bar Limited export to Latin America - 19th April 2006

Early in 2005, UCB Cast Profil and I started discussing our strategies/plans for the exporting of UCB products into Mexico, and later on, expanding into South America. After numerous emails and telephone conversations, in April of 2005, Mr. Jimenez and I met in Mexico City, to visit and meet with the three largest distributors of metals and prospective customers in Mexico. One of the three distributors of metals represented a foundry in the USA; the other two, represented a foundry in Brazil. After six to seven months, and endless perseverence and determination on the part of Mr. Jimenez and myself, this endeavour came to fruition: UCB Cast- Profil commenced doing business in Mexico. UCB Cast-Profil has, so far, shipped approximately 11 containers, mostly gray iron, into Mexico and our sales objective, for this year, is to ship 400 tons.. This will not be an easy task but I am confident that it can be accomplished. The next phase of our project will take us to South America. I also want to mention that Mr. Jimenez was instrumental in creating a business relationship between me and UCB Inc. (USA). To increase the sales of UCB Inc., I Brought in two key customers in Central America and one in the state of California, USA, who also represented a foundry in Brazil. Just this month, as a team, UCB Inc. shipped a full container to each one of these customers; not a bad start. It is now apparent that UCB group is gaining market share in territories where they did not have a presence.
