United Cast Bar Group have frequently proved that our continuously cast iron bars can also be cast as specific profiles in different variants. However, we are going one step further: Our distribution center in Germany is now manufacturing pre-machined "L-profiles" out of the world’s largest rectangular concast iron bar – 750x550mm.

These types of pre-machined profiles are suitable for prototypes, pre-series or special projects with small or medium-sized quantities and it shows that pre-machined can also be used instead of expensive sand castings. Pre-machined profiles can be delivered within a very short lead time and at the same time this will save expensive model costs and typical sand casting defects.
