United Cast Bar (UK) achieved the accreditation for Lloyd’s Register’s Marine approval for the supply of continuous cast iron in September 2017. Due to the ever increasing demands for third party approval and testing on the Global platform, and to further enhance our ability to supply all markets and industries, UCB (UK) have now been successful in achieving a Bureau Veritas certification across all material and product groups including Continuous Cast Iron and Static formed ingot castings.

Bureau Veritas is a world leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification. Their mission is at the heart of key challenges: quality, health and safety, environmental protection and social responsibility. Through a wide range of expertise, impartiality and independence, they build confidence between companies, public authorities and clients.

The United Cast Bar team in the UK have worked closely with Bureau Veritas Inspectors and Auditors to achieve this accreditation to allow them to meet both customer requirements and the additional demands required in the production of the product and service qualities.
